The general idea is to move from one sector to another, engage the guards there, and efter getting rid of them search through the buildings and bodies to get the artifacts you need. This sap is refined only in couple of plants, so you have to take control of as many of these as the game progresses. In short the island you're on is built up of "mini-maps" or sectors which contain the precious trees that produce the sap that you need. It's important to have a balanced team, 8 heavy shooters might sound as a good idea but if one of them is injured or a lock needs to be picked you won't have the right members to do a good job.Īs for the story-line it's straight-forward as well as unique, so I'd suggest you just watch the intro and the information you get at the start. There are a lot of different personalities and skill levels to choose from, some of which won't be interested in joining you until later in the game. Differance here is you hire mercenaries for your hard earned cash. In Jagged Alliance just as in UFO:Enemy Unknown you get a number of points per person you choose, which you can use to move, shoot and so on.

Then go out and explore Grand Chien as you meet new people, earn money, grow your team, and ultimately make your own decisions that will decide the country’s fate. This is the first part of one of the greatest series in turn-based games.

In Jagged Alliance 3, select from a huge cast of mercenaries all with their own unique personalities, quirks, and backstories. Now, the President’s family has pulled together all their resources, including an arrangement with the powerful Adonis corporation, to hire a group of skilled mercenaries tasked with finding the President and bringing order back to the country. Grand Chien, a nation of rich natural resources and deep political divides, is thrown into chaos when the elected president goes missing and a paramilitary force known as “The Legion” seizes control of the countryside.
